The Remote Work Training Program is an initiative of WorkRemote and supported by our partners.
The main objective of the program is to promote the training of individuals in developing skills that will help them find full-time employment online.
Article 1: Objectives
The objectives of this program are:
Promote the training of individuals in developing skills that will prepare them for the future of work;
Enable individuals to work remotely effectively and sustainably;
Provide assistance to individuals who need help realigning their careers and find full-time remote employment;
To mobilize countries in general, and particularly the business ecosystem for entrepreneurship with a positive climate impact, namely in the areas of energy, mobility, water, noise pollution, air quality, action against climate change, the Circular Economy, and Biodiversity;
To promote the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, namely those intersecting with the program’s impact areas;
Article 2: Program
Remote Work Training Program is a training program consisting of two phases:
Phase 1 – Online Training: An intensive seven-day experience offering participants the opportunity to evolve, create, share and develop their careers with the aim of preparing and training the participants to implement their action plans;
Phase 2 – Follow-up program: Divided into two types of activities
Group Coaching Calls – periodic events organized WorkRemote community with the aim of providing a debate on the main challenges experienced by participants and the exchange of good practices. These events may have different formats and duration.
Networking events – these events are open to the community and aim to provide inspiration to the participants and enable networking.
Article 3: Applicants
In order to apply for Remote Work Mentorship Program, applicants must be:
Over 18 years old, of any nationality, living in Philippines.
Must be able to write and speak in English. The medium of instruction and communication is in English.
Article 4: Application process
To qualify for the Remote Work Mentorship Program, applicants must complete the application process and follow the procedures below:
Applications must be submitted using the appropriate form available on the program’s website: WorkRemote.ph
The application period is open till January 31, 2021;
The organization reserves the right to extend the deadline for submitting applications unilaterally, with a notification published on the program’s website,
The organization is not responsible for any loss or non-receipt of applications, even if this results from network interruptions or failures, or a fault on the website created for the purpose of submitting applications;
Only one application may be submitted per individual.
Article 5: Application Assessment
Participants to the Remote Work Training Program are to be selected on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis.
Applications will be subject to a pre-screening process in order to verify the formal conditions stated in Article 4 of the applicant’s eligibility.
Applications will be subject to a preliminary assessment according to the objectives of the program for the purpose of pre-selection;
Applicants that do not meet the conditions stipulated in paragraph a) of this Article, will be notified by email that they will not proceed to the next assessment phase;
The organization reserves the right to invite applicants to reformulate their application;
The evaluation is based on the information submitted in the application form;
The jury panel session will take place in Febuary and the following criteria will be taken into account:
Professional level ;
Years of experience ;
Field of industry ;
English Proficiency (Level 2 or B1);
Each criterion will be ranked on a scale from 1 to 10, with 1 being Very Poor to 10 being Very Good;
The jury will consist of members of the organization and invited experts;
The organization will make every effort to ensure the selection of 100 finalists; however, it shall not be held responsible if that number of applicants cannot be selected.
Article 6: Methodology
Once applications have been reviewed and successful applicants have been notified:
The accepted applicants will be offered a place in the Online Training Course. Applicants with an attendance rate of over 90% will be taken under consideration for the selection of Phase 2 of the program.
The Online Training Course will be predominantly conducted in English;
The Course consists of online training, workshops and, inspirational talks;
The program will take place online, in March 2021;
Section 7: Communication rules
The images of our partners within specific projects must be used in all campaigns, activities, reports, or other publications and communications associated with the Remote Work Program initiative, whatever the platform of communication used, with the express reference “With the Support (Names of our partners)”, as well as the symbol of the entities.
The accepted applicants will collaborate with said entities in publicizing activities and making themselves available, whenever requested, to provide testimonials and information.
Section 8: Confidentiality
The parties undertake to maintain confidentiality regarding the content of all information to which they have access concerning this initiative, including intellectual and industrial property, even after the end of the process, except to the extent strictly necessary for the implementation of this Initiative and to the extent strictly necessary for the dissemination and promotion of the program.
Section 9: Intellectual Property
The applicants grant the organization permission to use non-confidential information in their promotional and marketing activities;
The organization of this initiative shall not be held liable for any violation of intellectual property, misuse, or plagiarism by another applicant or external member.
Section 10: Data protection
Protecting our users’ privacy and personal data is of the utmost importance to Work Remote and our partners.
Your information will be used to evaluate your application and facilitate your participation in the Remote Work Mentorship Program. In order to facilitate your participation, Work Remote will share your information with Grow Remote and Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition.
The organization reserves the right to amend the present regulations, giving notice of the changes to the applicants who apply/participate in any of the categories;
The organization reserves the right to alter the aforementioned dates unilaterally, upon notification published on the program’s website;
The situations not covered in the present regulations will be duly analyzed and defined by the organization; Participation in the program implies the explicit acceptance, by the applicants, of the terms and conditions of the present regulations.
